Shaun is an actor, improvisor, playwright, and director hailing from the suburbs of Los Angeles. He began his quest for dramatic truth in high school, when his best friend persuaded him to audition for Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. After playing the playfully pernicious Puck, he became the captain of his high school improv team. After graduating, he continued to hone his skills as a cast member of the Ventura Improv Company, where he performed longform, shortform, and even an eight week improvised soap opera. He studied theater at UC Santa Barbara, graduating with an emphasis in playwriting and directing. He performed in over a dozen plays while at UCSB, and won the Corwin Award for Best Play for his full-length play Poor State of Things. Currently, he is the artistic director of the improv troupe Narcissists Anonymous, with which he performs regularly. One of Leela’s newest performers, he is stoked to embody the mantra of Truthful, Artistic Play.
