Musical Improv III: Advanced Techniques

Explore a variety of musical styles and song types as you learn advanced techniques for improvising concerts, cabarets, and musicals. Duets, trios, and larger ensembles are integrated into previous material from Musical Improv I and II. Advanced music composition and vocal arranging techniques relevant to musical improv are covered, with special attention given to working with improvised underscore, introductions, and endings. Additional topics include: scene to song transitions, reprises, and ornamental devices.
